Years ago, I started a blog with a vision of it one day becoming a digital magazine and online portfolio. After years of brainstorming and indecisiveness, I can say with confidence that my website is finally starting to take shape.

There’s so much content that I want to share, but when I look at all the drafts I have waiting to be developed, I can’t help but be a little overwhelmed, yet excited at the same time. Not sure exactly how many I have, but if you ask me, there’s one too many for my liking. I guess its good that I kept a record for all my ideas.

Parenting and working full-time became my main excuses for self-sabotaging and not coming up with an efficient game plan that would have kept me creating.

Luckily, I’ve taken the necessary steps to regain my creativity. I took a leap of faith by leaving a stressful job behind with hopes of becoming a full-time creator and starting my own freelance business.

Juggling parenting and attempting to launch a career in a new industry is a daunting task, but I know deep down inside I’m up for the challenge and ready to share my creativity with the world. Not to mention moving on from a stressful position was the first step to living a better life.

One thing I’ve learned and have grown to appreciate about being a Creator is that sharing is caring. We live in an era where sharing is the norm, and although privacy comes with a premium, this new wave of openness can be challenging for introverted individuals like myself.

“I’ll admit when it comes to sharing, I’m selective…but shouldn’t I be?”

Some things I put out maybe old by the time I get around to publishing them (or may not make a lot of sense), but I’ve realized there’s never a “perfect” time for anything.

As I continue to grow and evolve on this journey, I’m slowing coming to the realization that everything doesn’t have to be picture perfect for it to be valued. So if you are reading one of my posts or articles and it seems to be old or dated, don’t mind me, I’m just catching up on my sharing.
